The character of Gwen Cooper does not belong to me, nor does anything associated with the 'Doctor Who' or 'Torchwood' universes. Character: Gwen Cooper(PB: Eve Myles) Fandom: Torchwood Point in Canon: Sometime during season 2 of Torchwood(will not air in the US untill January 2008) Description:  Personality: Gwen Cooper was a Cardiff Police Constable when she stumbled across a secret Torchwood 3 operation which involved the death of several people. She joined Torchwood at the invitation of Captain Jack Harkness, who valued her empathic nature and ability to see beyond the facts. As a Torchwood operative she provided an essential foil to Captain Jack, although her personal agendas often interfered with her duties. Her actions and decisions are often guided by her desire to protect her live-in boyfriend, Rhys. She had a brief, disruptive affair with another operative, Owen Harper. But she is described by team doctor Owen Harper as socially responsible and empathetic with unfulfilled potential. Facts: Involved with Rhys Williams(as per season one finale End of Days). Her close friends within Torchwood 3 include Captain Jack Harkness, Ianto Jones, Toshiko Sato and Owen Harper. She also is friendly with Dr.Martha Jones(coming soon to the US run of Torchwood). Easily looks like the girl next door in jeans,sneakers and t-shirts. She is on medical having caught a nasty flu from Owen Harper a few days prior and arrives with a backpack with a change of clothes(jeans,t-shirt and sneakers), her cell phone, 2 paperback books, a small electronic game, IPod, and a small handgun.
